Fuji Bikes Signs with Rite Aid Pro Cycling presented by Shebell & Shebell

Wayne, Pennsylvania, February 29, 2008 – The Rite Aid Pro Cycling sponsored by Shebell & Shebell and Fuji Bicycles today announced an agreement which will have the team riding Fuji frames and forks for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

“We are excited about having one of the most innovative bike companies in the world as our partner,” says Jon Wirsing, Director Sportif of the team. “The commitment of Fuji to excellence in everything they do, from research to manufacturing, parallels our own goals as a team. We both want to be the best in all that we do. Their knowledge of high tech frame materials and manufacturing techniques is extremely impressive as is their eagerness to use our squad to provide feedback for design refinements for future product offerings.”

The team will be riding the Fuji Team Issue frameset, a full monocoque carbon C7 race- purposed frame with some of the riders on the SL-1, a super light frameset made of C10 carbon that weighs only 890 grams. For time trials, the riders will use Fuji’s Aloha CF-1.

“We are very proud to be associated with this team, especially since they are based very close to our corporate headquarters and feature a good number of local riders that we have watched develop over the years,” said Fuji’s Director of Marketing Karen Bliss.

“We’re happy to be able to support them as Pennsylvania’s premier pro team.”

Rite Aid Pro Cycling presented by Shebell & Shebell embark on their third year under the Rite Aid banner with a new presenting sponsor and another exciting international roster - five returning veterans and six new young rising talents. The team finished the 2007 season with 17 wins, 38 podiums and was the 8th ranked UCI America Tour team, 2nd of all of the US teams.

Fuji Named Official Bike of Johan Bruyneel Cycling Academy

PHILADELPHIA, PA (01/14/08) – Fuji Bikes announced today its sponsorship of the newly created Johan Bruyneel Cycling Academy (JBCA). The relationship puts JBCA riders aboard Fuji Team Issue framesets for the 2008 season.

“We’re thrilled to be associated with not only one of the sport’s current icons – Johan Bruyneel – but also a premier academy that supports the development of U.S. riders,” says Karen Bliss, Director of Marketing for Fuji Bikes. “These kids, who wouldn’t necessarily get a chance to compete in Europe without this program, get to experience life as a pro – we’re happy to help them fulfill part of their dreams.”

MTB Rider Seamus McGrath Signs with Fuji

Top-ranked Canadian Mountain Biker Eyes the Olympic Games

PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 11, 2008)— Fuji Bicycles is proud to announce its sponsorship of Seamus McGrath, top Canadian mountain bike racer. He will be racing and training on Fuji bikes exclusively during this Olympic year. He joins Fuji teammates Austrian National XC Champion Christophe Soukup and German U23 National Champion Rene Tann for the European World Cup circuit, as well as pro cross-country races in North America.

“We’re thrilled to have 12-time Canadian National Team member Seamus McGrath join the Fuji team,” said Karen Bliss, Fuji’s Director of Marketing. “He will help showcase the quality and innovation of our mountain bikes especially here in North America. We’ve had tremendous success with sales of Fuji mountain bikes in Europe but in the U.S. and Canada I believe we’ve been a bit underrated,” Bliss continued.

With over 15 years in the sport, McGrath’s career highlights include a ninth place finish at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, a silver and bronze medal respectively, at the 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games, and National Championship short track title in 2002.

McGrath will be racing on the Mt. Fuji SL hardtail and the Outland RC full-suspension models throughout the season. In addition, he will assist Fuji’s product managers by testing a new carbon hardtail prototype before it goes into full production. This yet-to-be named model is expected to be released in 2009 – it incorporates new carbon technology that is expected to be strong, lightweight and ultra-responsive.

“I am really excited to be racing on a Fuji for 2008 as they build a competitive World Cup ready bike. Along with that, they have a great team infrastructure in Europe,” said McGrath.
